The BUILD BUILD BUILD program of the Duterte Adminstration has a new edition in the area of improving the public transport system in Metro Manila. On 22 November 2017, the Officials of the Department of Transportation DOTr, Metro Manila Development  Authority MMDA, the City Officials of the City of Paranaque, congressmen representing the districts Cavite and Paranaque and the officers of the Megawide Corporation, made a Progress Inspection and Briefing of the South West Integrated Transport Exchange Project SWITEX. Among these in attendance were MMDA Chair Danny Lim, Mayor Edwin Olivarez and Representative Eric Olivarez of Paranaque, Representatives from the province of Cavite, namely Congressmen Strike Revilla and Alex Advincula, Usec Tim Orbos  and Asec Mark Richmund de Leon both of DOTr and Chairman Martin Delgra III of the LTFRB and officials of the Megawide Corporation, the project concessionaire.

The  SWITEX is to be finished earlier than expected on April 2018,  an integrated terminal system that will interconnect the different modality of the LRT line 1, the city and provincial buses and the UV express and PUJ routes which will end at the SWITEX. When completed, it will accommodate 1000 provincial buses coming from the Southwest routes originating from Batangas and Mindoro and Panay Island, the city buses ending at the southwest routes with an excepted 200,000 passengers passing through the terminal daily.
