Premised on the office’s effort to be a mission driven organization, the DOTr Caraga thru its Regional Franchising and Regulatory Office (RFRO) successfully commenced the Drivers Academy program. We believed that through Drivers Academy, public utility drivers will become more responsible in bringing their passengers to their respective destinations safely.

The Drivers Academy is a process of re-familiarizing with basic road safety, driving courtesy, and other good driving habits. It serves as a refresher course for all public utility drivers and was established following the report that the causes of accidents in the highways are human errors and misconduct of some drivers.   Further, the academy gives proper understanding of drivers on traffic rules and regulations as well as informing them of important gender related issues. So far, there were already around sixty hundred (600) drivers actively participated the said activity in 2017.

We have conducted the Regionwide Law Enforcement Operation from November 2017 to present, with the aide of the LTO District Offices, LTFRB personnel, Operations Division and through the coordination with the LGU’s and PNP.

This is to continuously ensure compliance with R.A. 4136, RA 100054, apprehend major violations such as but not limited to Colorum, Expired CPC’s, Out of Line, Expired/Unregistered vehicle, Expired/Unlicensed Driver and other related laws, rules, and regulations of LTO and LTFRB.

Law Enforcers are mandated to observe proper decorum and utmost courtesy in the discharge of their duties and functions.
